CHAMPIONSHIPS AND ENDURANCES
The British Lawn Mower Racing Association are responsible for organising the following Championships and events.
To enter any race meeting you must be a member of the BLMRA, have had your mower homologated, stamped and been issued with a log book and race number.
THE BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIP
The British Championship takes place from May to October.
Each of the four groups have their own Championship.
Two Championship races will take place on each day of racing.
Each Group 2 Championship race will last 15 minutes or 15 laps (whichever is longer).
Each Group 3 & 4 Championship race will last 20 minutes or 20 laps (whichever is longer).
Points are awarded on a 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1 basis. 25 points for a win.

Events not part of the Championship are: any Endurance event, British Grand Prix, World Championships.
THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
The World Championship takes place over a two day race weekend.
Each of the four groups have their own Championship.
The races are a series of heats over both days with all points counting and culminating in a World Champion.
THE BRITISH GRAND PRIX
The format for the British Grand Prix varies, at present it is a 30 minute race on each day culminating in a winner.
THE 12 HOUR ENDURANCE RACE
The 12 Hour Endurance Race takes place in the summer and starts at 8pm on a Saturday night and finishes at 8am on the Sunday morning with teams of three drivers.
This is a stand alone event as well as being part of The Endurance Championship.
Each team will be allocated a different race number for this event.
CROSS COUNTRY
The Cross Country doesn’t happen every year, but when it does it can involve, water splashes the odd hedge, a jump or two and about 30 acres of private countryside. A very popular event!
